Meet the newest member of the family!

We are so excited to announce we have made a huge upgrade from tent life!

This has been a crazy June for us - we snuck in two quick camping trips in Iowa and Nebraska. Jason and Dani did a 24 thru walk on segment 1 of the Colorado Trail. We enjoyed some warm sunny days at a local state park. And spent the 4th of July with family.  But most importantly after YEARS of searching, we found a new to us RV!!

In early June, we purchased a 1999 Palomino Stallion pop-up camper!  All five of us are super excited.  There is so much negative feedback about pop-ups these days, but we knew this little RV is just right for us.  Over the past few weeks, we have been completely upgrading and redoing our new little camper to get it ready for our big Black Hills/Mt. Rushmore camping trip that is just around the corner.

Pop-up camper renovations

This pop-up was well-loved and well used by its previous family, but unfortunately lacked a lot of adequate maintenance.  So along with new floors and fabric, we've also been replacing water-soaked wood and poorly sealed canvas, and all those not-so-fun fixer-upper pieces.  Luckily, we are on the final stretch of our redo and we can't wait to share all that has been changed, upgraded, renovated, and a few new ideas we came up with.

And we can't wait to share all the reasons why we love our little pop-up.

If you’re curious about how we renovated any other parts of our 1999 Palomino pop-up camper please check out the links below or visit our main page here.
