Word Art Decor: Free Printable Designs for Your Camper or RV

To decorate the camper or not to decorate the camper? That is the question. It really is! Among RVers, there is quite a debate on whether or not to make your RV feel like home. On one side, there are people like me who have hung pictures on walls and brought in throw pillows and fake plants. All this in an effort to make our space more personalized and cozy - our home on wheels.

On the other side of the debate - when you leave those decorating touches at home, then the RV truly feels like a different space. Your brain understands that the RV is a different space in a different place. Because after all, it is not home. It’s an RV.

While I thoroughly appreciate both sides of the argument I LOVE our homey touches. We have hung pictures from our travels, added Hobby Lobby signs to the walls, and even themed our bathroom with Route 66 decor. Over the winter, I’ve been browsing Etsy and the craft store shelves once again looking for something new and I fell in love with these on-trend “In this family” motto signs. They are so sweet and a great reminder of the love our families share.

That’s when I got the idea of creating a sign for our RV about camping family life!

I took all the things we love about camping life and compiled them into a simple printable for you and me. I loved the clean look of the black and white farmhouse version and decided to try rainbow for fun. Then I wanted to try our blog colors next - navy, aqua, yellow, and orange. I hope you like one of these choices and add it to your camper.

These frames were purchased from IKEA because I like the idea of having plexiglass in the frames instead of real glass. I think you can also find cheap frames from the dollar store if you don’t have an IKEA nearby. And I attached them to our RV walls using narrow Command Strips. You don’t really need more than one at the top, but I used one on each side so I can make sure it stays level after bouncing around.
