The Campfire Travelers household has been CRAZY busy these past few weeks - PTO meetings, birthday parties, church ministry, flag football games, Cub Scouts, homework, tests, and projects galore! I don't think anyone is more excited for summer break than this mom right here!! Luckily, this weekend we're heading out for a few days of R&R at a nearby KOA for the Care Camps Big Weekend. On top of all the craziness, now I need to pack everyone for the trip and if I'm not organized I know the toothpaste will definitely be left at home. Or shoes. Or food. I knew I needed a packing list to help me remember everything.
Luckily, I remembered I created this list a few weeks ago and it has already been a lifesaver!! The weather blank at the top of the page made me think to check the forecast and they're predicting RAIN! Bummer! Hopefully it changes - but for now I'm planning for rain and 60's. Sounds like I'll be breaking down and buying some rain jackets too.
What's great about this list is that you can cut it up and delegate responsibilities! I'm going to cut off the bottom section for Camper #3 because he's old enough to pack himself (with my guidelines). In fact, this guy turns 8 while we're camping, so we'll be having a great time celebrating his birthday too. Of course, he's requested Walking Tacos for his birthday dinner!
The list has enough room for 6 campers including extra room to personalize your needs. And some of those Don't Forget type of things. Simple is my motto and that's what I tried to do for this list.
I hope you love it just as much as I do! You can print and download yours HERE.
