Early last month I had the amazing opportunity to attend and write about the E3 Association National Conference. If you’ve never heard of E3, I would highly encourage you to check them out. There are several divisions to E3, but our favorite, of course, is E3 Camping from co-founders Marc and Tricia of the ever-popular Keep Your Daydream. Jason and I have been founding members of E3 Camping since its launch in October and have found it to be a wonderful resource for RVers and campers.
E3 Association recently released a special edition digital magazine featuring just a few highlights from the conference and I am excited to share my contributions with my readers.

The lights go down and the moment has finally arrived, it’s time for the first annual E3 Association National Conference to begin. The grand ballroom is brimming with anticipation as hundreds of E3 Members from Maui to Maine have descended on Las Vegas, Nevada, for the opportunity to hear more from their favorite E3 brand partners all in one room. At only nine months old E3 Camping led by Marc and Tricia Leach is the newest addition to the lineup and has quickly become a community favorite. “One of the things we love about E3 is the opportunity to have unique camping experiences and tap into amazing knowledge from our contributors that have a wealth of RV experience,” Tricia explains.
The phenomenal family of Keep Your Daydream has their community always wishing for more every Sunday night as they bring their over 415,000 YouTube subscribers along on new adventures at every twist and turn. And we E3 members are now lucky enough to have the next three days to soak in all their knowledge, know-how, stories, and inside jokes that make you feel like not just a part of the community, but a close friend, to this genuine and lovable duo.
Marc and Tricia are sharing the stage with other outdoor powerhouses Brad Kowitz of E3 Overland as well as Kevin and Brittany Williams of E3 Offroad. As we settle in for day one it doesn’t take long to realize this isn’t going to be your average outdoor hobbyist conference. We go in-depth on topics ranging from tires to must-have RV accessories and maintenance reminders for your rig from the professionals at NRVTA. We’re covering topics from business building to living life to its fullest and how to make the most of your time for adventuring. There isn’t a dry eye in sight as we listen to the inspiring stories from Kris “Tanto” Paronto detail his battle in Benghazi. And we learn how Team Rubicon is helping veterans and civilians through incredibly important volunteer work. Over and over it’s obvious that just like the conference tag line, we are going further together. We are reminded that the possibilities are limitless in whichever way we want to design our own success and it’s impossible not to feel inspired to chase after our own dreams.
Unlike many conferences of this size, the E3 brand personalities are not kept at a distance, instead, they’re walking around meeting fans, listening to their stories, sharing laughs, and enjoying these one-on-one moments.
“We enjoy this type of setting because it gives us the opportunity to answer the big questions that people have”, Marc says. “Questions on YouTube and Facebook are different. These conversations go deeper.” And the wide variety of questions they receive and answer, show that their followers know they can rely on the wealth of knowledge from E3 Camping. Topics ranging from destinations, rig advice, route planning, how to maintain a happy family once you get there, and much more.
As we attendees chat over meals and during breaks the first question you ask in a multi-faceted environment like this is, “what brand are you here to see?” And the moment you find your fellow camping friends you can almost guarantee a conversation about how thrilled they are to be here, how their expectations have been blown away by what we’ve seen already, and how they knew that Marc and Tricia would be just as real in person as they are on our screens.
Before you know it the dynamic couple is back on stage, yet again, encouraging the whole room to start small, inspiring us with their top RV destinations, and relaying their best tips to get the most out of our RV trips. They’re sharing in detail their advice on everywhere from Alaska to Mexico or how to tackle the dips that every RVer will face. By day three we are drooling over the sights, smells, and sounds of the live cooking show as Tricia joins Marco Hernandez in making a Mexican feast fit for any camper in any environment.
It’s impossible to explain how three days have flown by so quickly, filled us with inspiration, and been so much fun at every turn. As we trade Instagram screenames and email addresses with our new friends we’re reassured that we’ll see each other next year. “I wouldn’t miss it for anything!”, can be heard across nearly every table.
“We’ve got even bigger ideas for next year!” Marc assures us. “We’re already brainstorming ideas on how we can create more events for our community. Events that will bring us together.” And with that, we all clear our calendars for 2022.

There’s a shift in the way we are traveling, a movement you could say. Perhaps it was due to the health implications of the past couple of years or maybe it started before that, as pushback from our busy everyday lives. The desire to slow down. To quite literally stop and smell the roses. In simple terms, it’s as small as taking the longer path
National park visitation has seen a huge uptick in visitors since 2016 and a 30% increase in just the past three years. With staggering growth such as this, the National Park Service (NPS) needed to make some changes. Their solution for crowd control became a reservation and permit system. Whether you love national park timed entry reservations or hate them, the fact is they’re here to stay, at least for a few more years.

Your RV can be your home away from home, but with a few simple touches, you can transform it into a luxury retreat that feels like a vacation every time. One way to do this is by adding special items that you enjoy, like a great-smelling candle or a piece of artwork for the walls. For me, it's all about using Sun Bum shampoo and conditioner only in the RV, upgrading the mattress, and investing in high-quality sheets and pillows for a good night's sleep. Other ideas include a luxurious throw blanket or favorite quilt, specialty cooking items, a coffee mug that reminds you of a favorite place you've camped, and fancy coffee or tea you don't normally buy. By adding these special touches, you can elevate your RV experience and create unforgettable memories.
