Best Place to Camp Near Bozeman, Montana

When booking campgrounds for our epic national park road trip I stumbled upon The Inn on the Gallatin. A little mom-and-pop place in Gallatin Gateway, MT, known to the locals for its cafe featuring well-known and loved cinnamon rolls. The Inn has quaint little cabins as well as a few RV sites and it lies directly on the Gallatin River. It was by far my favorite campground on our trip. The owners were lovely and they showed incredible hospitality in every aspect of our stay. It’s only about 30 minutes from Bozeman which makes it a perfect spot if you want to be surrounded by nature while also exploring the local area.
