National Park Week is in full swing and in honor of the week we are sharing our travels to destinations within the park system. So far we've talked aboutMt. Rushmore, Badlands National Park, andRocky Mountain National Park. Today we're going to change things up a little.
About 13 years ago my family and I visited the Grand Canyon. I didn't drive there, I didn't pay, and I only got about 6 good pictures from a disposable camera. Therefore I remember basically nothing about the logistics or specific sights to see.
I do remember clearly:
- Even though I had seen hundreds pictures before, no picture can do justice to this amazing canyon.
- And I remember telling myself to bring my future children here because they had to experience this.
Basically, I don't have much to share for the purpose of encouraging you to visit except for my 6 pictures that I just scanned from a 13 year old index print because I seem to have lost everything else. They even have that cool old-school effect which I'm not sure it that makes feel old or not?
Luckily, the Grand Canyon National Park is one of the most talked about parks in America so I don't feel too bad about this picture only post. So enjoy!
This little person is no other than Dani - who is now 14 and helping me out with our T3 series.
Now it's time to plan your adventure to the Grand Canyon!! And don't forget the kids, they'll love it! And try not to fall off the edge - just kidding!
