A simple Google search about the link between nature and stress reduction turns up about 98 million results. I don't know about you, but I really don't need a researcher to tell me about the calming benefits of nature! Whenever the stress of life starts creeping up, Jason and I are always quick to decompress with a walk, hike, bike ride, or better yet a camping trip. What I do find interesting is that we each have our own stress medicine. For Jason it's a cabin in the woods, for my mom it's anywhere in the mountains surrounded by pine trees, for my sister the answer is a beach and for me it's anywhere different than my current surroundings.
